Hongseong County to Support Management Fees
for Apartment Complexes with Over 8 Households

Hongseong County, Chungnam Province, announced on the 28th that it will invest 409 million won this year to implement a support project for the management fees of apartment complexes.

This project, in accordance with the ‘Hongseong County Apartment Management Ordinance,’ targets apartment complexes with eight or more households that have been completed for more than seven years. It is divided into facility improvement projects for the installation or repair of common facilities within the complexes, and community revitalization projects.

For facility improvement projects, up to 50 million won per complex will be provided at a rate of 70% of the total project cost, depending on the number of households. Major areas of support include: ▲paving of roads and installation or repair of street (security) lights within apartment complexes ▲parking lots and children's playgrounds ▲maintenance and repair of outdoor exercise facilities for residents ▲roof waterproofing and painting of common areas on the interior and exterior walls of buildings.

The community revitalization project provides support within the range of 2 to 3 million won per complex, with 30% of the cost to be borne by the residents. The project includes education, consulting, program development, and operation related to communication and harmony among residents.

The county will accept applications for support, conduct on-site inspections and evaluations to set priorities, and then finalize and support the project sites through deliberation by the ‘Hongseong County Apartment Management Support Deliberation Committee.’
