KB Kookmin Bank Expands 'Safe Credit Transaction Blocking Service' to Internet Banking


KB Kookmin Bank announced on the 28th that it has expanded the application channels for the 'Credit Transaction Safe Blocking Service' to include internet banking, in addition to the existing branches and KB Star Banking.


The 'Credit Transaction Safe Blocking Service' is designed to prevent customers' financial damage caused by voice phishing, identity theft transactions, and other frauds in advance. It allows customers to directly set whether to allow credit transactions such as credit loans, credit card issuance, and card loans.


Currently, applications for the 'Credit Transaction Safe Blocking Service' could be made by visiting branches or through KB Star Banking (mobile), but from now on, it will also be easy and convenient to apply via internet banking.


The expansion of application channels aims to enable service applications through all channels, providing customers with safe financial services and convenience in handling transactions. For branch applications, the service is available during business hours, while applications through KB Star Banking and internet banking are available from Monday to Saturday, 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Service cancellation can only be done at branches to prevent third-party cancellations.


A KB Kookmin Bank official stated, "The expansion of application channels for the Credit Transaction Safe Blocking Service is a measure to allow customers to protect their financial assets more conveniently," adding, "KB Kookmin Bank will continue to strive to help customers maintain a safer and more secure financial life."
