Jeonnam to Promote Its Culinary and Tourism Attractions Nationwide

Jeollanam-do Sets the Stage for the Namdo International Gourmet Industry Expo

Jeollanam-do is launching a nationwide promotion of its tourist attractions, gourmet cuisine, and local ingredients through a new cable TV variety show.

The broadcast aims to boost gourmet tourism in "The Home of Flavor, Jeonnam" and create early excitement for the "2025 Namdo International Gourmet Industry Expo," which will be hosted by Jeollanam-do and Mokpo City in October. Jeollanam-do and five cities and counties participated in the production.

The show, "Our Village Puppy," which premieres on March 1, features the story of a young city dweller taking on the challenge of becoming a grandchild in a rural village.

Set in Goheung, Jangheung, Naju, Yeongam, and Wando, the program introduces Jeonnam's delicious cuisine and ingredients through activities such as helping local elders and enjoying seasonal meals.

The show stars popular actor Kim Dohun, with Shin Yeeun, Heo Namjun, Lim Sungjae, and DAY6 vocalist Young K, among other well-known special guests.

The broadcast will also be available on YouTube (Channel TEO) starting March 28. Promotion for the "2025 Namdo International Gourmet Industry Expo" will be provided through pinned comments and the video description on YouTube.
