According to the police on the 27th, the Seocho Police Station in Seoul has booked Mr. A, a man in his 30s, without detention on charges of violating the Narcotics Control Act (attempted marijuana possession) and is currently investigating.

Mr. A is suspected of attempting to secure about 5g of liquid marijuana last October in a flowerbed of a building on Hyoryeong-ro, Seocho-gu, Seoul. At the time, police who responded to a report stating "suspicious people seem to be looking for drugs in the building's flowerbed" found liquid marijuana contained in a 10ml container at the scene. After tracking, the police apprehended Mr. A and two of his acquaintances. It is known that all tested negative in drug tests conducted at the time of apprehension.

During the police investigation, Mr. A and others reportedly stated, "We asked an acquaintance for coordinates to obtain marijuana and went to the site but could not find it." The police are investigating whether they have used drugs. Related individuals who provided the location of the liquid marijuana are also under investigation.
