The Gwangju Nam-gu Community Social Security Council (Civilian Chairperson: Lee Sunmi) announced on the 27th that it will hold a naming contest for the new "Community-Based Mobile Welfare Center" project, aiming to select a name that reflects Nam-gu's unique characteristics, business potential, conciseness, visual appeal, and readability.
The "Community-Based Mobile Welfare Center" project is a new welfare platform initiative that directly visits administrative districts without welfare centers, where accessibility to welfare facilities is low, to provide welfare programs and social services.
The contest period runs until the 7th of next month. Interested residents can participate by filling out the application form on the Nam-gu Community Social Security Council website and submitting it via email. One grand prize winner (300,000 KRW) and three excellence award winners (100,000 KRW each) will be selected, and any resident interested in the new project is eligible to participate.
A council representative stated, "The winning name will be officially adopted as the title of the new project, so we encourage many to participate," and added, "We hope this contest will help foster a sense of familiarity with the project among residents and serve as a valuable opportunity to promote the initiative."
