Choi Tae-rim, a member of the Gyeongbuk Provincial Council (People Power Party··Uiseong), announced on the 27th that he received a commendation from the Chairman of the Korea Federation of Small and Medium Business in recognition of his contributions to supporting effective management activities of small and medium-sized enterprises and fostering local businesses.
As the chairman of the 12th Administrative, Health and Welfare Committee in the first half and currently a member of the Planning and Economy Committee, Councilor Choi has been dedicated to policy formulation and budget securing for fostering local SMEs, creating jobs, and supporting vulnerable groups, striving in various ways to stabilize the local economy and improve residents' quality of life.
Additionally, he proposed the "Gyeongsangbuk-do Ordinance on Local Autonomy Decentralization and Regional Balanced Development," strengthening Gyeongbuk's autonomous capabilities, creating conditions to compete with the metropolitan area, and laying the foundation for balanced development among cities and counties within the province and revitalization of the regional economy.
Councilor Choi Tae-rim stated, "I understand this award as a call to further efforts in resolving local issues in Gyeongbuk and addressing the difficulties faced by small and medium enterprises, and I will take the lead in improving the challenging environment for SMEs." He added, "I will continue to work tirelessly on policy development to enhance the competitiveness of SMEs in Gyeongbuk and to revitalize the regional economy."
