Dangjin City in Chungnam is operating a promotional booth at DSK 2025 (Drone Show Korea), held at Exhibition Hall 1 of BEXCO in Busan from the 26th to the 28th, to promote the development of the domestic drone industry and attract investment.
According to the city on the 27th, 'DSK 2025 (Drone Show Korea)' is the largest drone exhibition in Asia, showcasing the latest drone technologies and industry trends.
In addition, domestic and international drone manufacturers, research institutes, and public organizations are participating to share various use cases and future prospects of drones.
This promotional booth is jointly operated by Dangjin City and local drone-related companies, including Airfuture Co., Ltd. and IN Aviation Co., Ltd. The city is actively promoting the Dangjin Drone Industry Support Center and plans to establish a Korea-China drone joint venture, while also holding consultations to attract investment from domestic drone companies.
In particular, on the 26th, Mayor Oh Seonghwan visited the event in person to promote Dangjin City's investment environment for the drone industry and actively engaged in investment attraction activities, including discussions on cooperation with domestic and international companies.
At this exhibition, Mayor Oh Seonghwan introduced in detail Dangjin City's excellent infrastructure and support policies, sharing the city's vision as a leading city in the drone industry sector.
He also visited various company booths to directly examine the latest technologies and products, and sought ways for mutual cooperation through meetings with company representatives to further develop investment attraction strategies.
A city official stated, "We are implementing various support policies to foster the drone industry as a future growth engine for the region," and added, "We hope this event will serve as an opportunity to strengthen cooperation with related companies and stakeholders at home and abroad."
