Cheongsong-gun Holds First Regional Social Security Council Representative Meeting of the Year

Warm Companionship, Sharing Welfare Together

On the 26th, Cheongsong-gun, Gyeongbuk Province, held the first 2025 meeting of the Community Security Representative Council (Public Chairman: County Governor Yoon Kyung-hee, Private Chairman: Lee Sang-chun).

The meeting was attended by 16 council members, including County Governor Yoon Kyung-hee, and included an evaluation and report on the 2024 Cheongsong-gun Community Security Plan.

The Community Security Plan is established every four years in accordance with the "Act on the Use and Provision of Social Security Benefits and the Discovery of Beneficiaries," taking into account local welfare needs, resources, and welfare environment.

Based on this mid- to long-term plan, Cheongsong-gun formulates and implements annual action plans and continuously evaluates them.

In particular, under the slogan "Warm Companionship, Sharing Welfare Together," Cheongsong-gun promoted 41 detailed projects, among which the ▲Free Rural Bus Ride Project ▲8282 Civil Complaint Handling Team Operation ▲Landmark ‘Cheongsong Garden’ were selected as outstanding projects. Discussions were also held on the changes to the 2025 Community Security Plan and the direction of major social security projects.

County Governor Yoon Kyung-hee stated, “We will further strengthen the functions of the Cheongsong-gun Community Security Council, actively discover projects needed by residents, and implement welfare policies that residents can truly feel.”
