On the 27th, Seosan City in Chungnam Province announced that it will conduct a comprehensive inspection of address information facilities within the city by mid-June to systematically manage these facilities and ensure their accuracy and safety.

The inspection will cover a total of approximately 44,000 facilities, including about 6,700 road name signs, 35,000 building number plates, 1,800 object address plates, 190 base number plates, and 25 address information boards.

The city plans to focus the inspection on whether the facilities are missing or damaged and whether their installation locations are appropriate.

In addition, the results of the inspection will be registered in real time using mobile devices, laying the foundation for systematic facility management.

In particular, to improve convenience for citizens, the city will repair or replace any damaged or missing facilities found during the inspection, and install new ones where additional facilities are needed.

Jo Juhyung, head of the Land Management Division, said, "Through continuous management of these facilities, we will enhance the convenience of using road name addresses for citizens and do our best to ensure that everyone can easily and conveniently utilize location information."
