This measure was established following the collapse accident at a housing demolition site in Jisan-dong, Dong-gu. Buk-gu has set up an emergency inspection plan and will carry out on-site inspections until the 21st of next month.

The inspection covers all demolition sites where work is currently underway or scheduled, including the Jeonnam Bangjik and Ilsin Bangjik demolition sites. Inspection teams composed of district office officials will visit the sites directly to check compliance with demolition plans, safety measures for each construction phase, installation of safety facilities such as falling object prevention nets, and protection measures for adjacent buildings, pedestrians, and vehicles.

In consideration of the weakened ground conditions during the thawing season, thorough inspections will also be conducted to prevent facility collapse risks in advance. If any deficiencies are found during this process, administrative actions such as fines under the Building Management Act will be imposed, or immediate corrections will be made on-site.
