The 1 Company 1 School financial education program is a program where financial companies form sisterhood ties with nearby elementary, middle, and high schools to provide financial education. Hyundai Card was highly recognized for conducting differentiated financial education through its ‘League of Finance’ program, which applies gamification to financial education, earning this award.

The League of Finance program is characterized by allowing students to complete missions in a virtual space to gain financial knowledge.

Recently, Hyundai Card expanded the 1 Company 1 School financial education program to schools in underserved local areas, receiving positive evaluations for efforts to reduce financial capability gaps between regions.

Hyundai Card, which has formed sisterhood ties with schools located near its headquarters in the Seoul metropolitan area, has been communicating with students from schools in Jeonnam and Chungbuk provinces and conducting experiential programs since last year.

Since 2015, Hyundai Card has introduced differentiated educational programs through the 1 Company 1 School financial education initiative that make learning financial knowledge easier and more enjoyable.

Using interesting themes such as musicals and escape room mystery games, the education effectively covered topics like ‘Understanding Smart Credit Habits’ and ‘The Importance of Credit Life.’

Through approximately 700 sessions of 1 Company 1 School financial education over 10 years, about 19,000 students have received financial education from Hyundai Card to date.

A Hyundai Card official said, "Hyundai Card’s differentiated system and efforts using games and virtual spaces in education have been recognized once again with this award," adding, "We plan to continue developing programs that allow consumers of various generations to more easily accept and understand finance throughout their life cycles."
