Held at BEXCO in Busan for Three Days Starting on the 26th
Maximizing the Impact of National Anti-Drone Training Ground Designation
Uiseong-gun, Gyeongbuk Province, will participate in the ‘2025 Drone Show Korea (DSK 2025)’ held at BEXCO in Busan for three days starting from the 26th, promoting its status as a leading anti-drone city.
Gyeongbuk Uiseong-gun is cheering in front of the exhibition hall promoting Uiseong-gun as an anti-drone leading city at DSK 2025 (Drone Show Korea), held for three days from the 26th at BEXCO in Busan.
Drone Show Korea is Asia's largest drone industry exhibition hosted by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, the Ministry of National Defense, the Korea Aerospace Agency, and Busan Metropolitan City. This year, 306 companies from 15 countries will participate to showcase advanced drone technologies and the latest industry trends.
Uiseong-gun will be the first local government to be placed in the large drone (anti-drone) joint pavilion at this exhibition, actively promoting the current status and future plans of the anti-drone industry.
In particular, since the Uiseong Drone Flight Test Center was designated as the nation’s first ‘National Anti-Drone Training Ground’ in March last year, the county has been strengthening cooperation with related institutions and companies to accelerate the revitalization of the anti-drone industry.
Additionally, the county plans to establish a hub facility for the anti-drone industry, including corporate support and drone education spaces, by utilizing the closed Gaeum Middle School by 2026. As the first step, a fixed-wing runway will be constructed in 2025.
Kim Ju-su, the mayor of Uiseong-gun, stated, “Participating in the 2025 Drone Show Korea has become an opportunity to widely promote Uiseong-gun’s anti-drone industry,” and added, “We will continue to foster the anti-drone industry as a core future growth engine for Uiseong-gun.”
