Visit to Rempers' Dongtan Facility, a Manufacturer of Space Battery Packs

John Lee, Director of the Aerospace Mission Headquarters at the Space Agency, stated on the 27th that "Securing design, manufacturing, and verification technologies for space batteries, which are core components of satellites, is crucial to establishing a satellite development ecosystem for entering the ranks of the top five aerospace powers."

On the same day, Director Lee visited the Dongtan facility of 'Rempers,' a company that manufactures space battery packs, toured the battery pack testing site, listened to the company's opinions, and encouraged the developers.

Rempers, established in 2014, is a specialized manufacturer of electronic components such as lithium battery packs, producing and supplying portable and industrial battery packs. The company possesses design and manufacturing technologies for space battery packs that consider extreme environments such as satellite launch conditions. Based on these technologies, Rempers collaborates with numerous aerospace companies to carry out the design, manufacturing, and testing of various space batteries.
