Mokpo University Department of Food Engineering Appoints Department Ambassadors

The Department of Food Engineering at Mokpo National University (President Song Hacheol) recently held the 2024 Spring Degree Conferment Ceremony and the appointment ceremony for department ambassadors, the university announced on the 27th.

This event was organized to enhance the department's recognition and to vitalize its community, with a total of 24 graduates being appointed as promotional ambassadors.

The ambassadors are responsible for increasing the department's visibility through managing official SNS channels, creating promotional content, supporting academic events, and engaging in external promotional activities. They will participate in various activities such as introducing the department at admissions briefings and open campus events, as well as promoting research achievements and laboratory environments.

Additionally, by effectively delivering information on research accomplishments and career paths, the department aims to provide practical support to talented individuals who will lead the future food industry.

Professor Ma Seungjin, head of the Department of Food Engineering, stated, "We have implemented the ambassador system to widely promote the excellence of our department and to give students the opportunity to directly participate in its promotion," adding, "We will actively support the ambassadors so that they can successfully carry out various activities representing the department."

Through this appointment ceremony, the department ambassadors have officially begun their activities and are expected to contribute to the advancement of the Department of Food Engineering at Mokpo National University through various online and offline promotional activities in the future.
