The Large and Small-Medium Enterprise Safety and Health Win-Win Cooperation Project aims to eliminate the gap in safety and health levels. Large and small-medium enterprises voluntarily unite to devise and implement win-win solutions for safety and health. Samsung Electro-Mechanics has participated in the project since 2023. It has actively supported the prevention of industrial accidents by dispatching in-house experts in related fields such as risk assessment, electricity, firefighting, and safety and health to small and medium-sized partner companies.
Samsung Electro-Mechanics also operates a win-win cooperation program to improve accident prevention and safety and health management of partner companies. Until last year, consulting was provided to a total of 123 partner companies to obtain safety and health management system certification. Through this, 11 partner companies received recognition for risk assessment, and 2 companies succeeded in obtaining safety and health management system (ISO45001) certification. In addition, through education and consulting on explosion site risk assessment techniques for partner companies, it supported the identification and improvement of hazardous risk factors, and contributed to accident prevention and the spread of safety culture by providing safety supplies and health products for partner company workers to prepare for heat waves and cold waves.
Jang Deok-hyun, President of Samsung Electro-Mechanics, emphasized, "Safety and health are the top priorities in management," adding, "We must find even the hidden 1% of unsafe elements and create a perfectly safe workplace for both employees and partner companies."
