Regarding the Ukraine ceasefire negotiations, the Kremlin Palace of Russia announced that President Vladimir Putin and U.S. President Donald Trump can communicate by phone at any time, TASS news agency reported on the 26th (local time).
According to the report, Dmitry Peskov, the Kremlin spokesperson, said at a briefing that there are currently no plans for an additional call between the two leaders, but "plans can change immediately if urgent issues need to be resolved," adding, "If necessary, the call can take place at any time. This is because dialogue has resumed."
Earlier, the two leaders agreed to immediately start ceasefire negotiations related to the Ukraine war during a phone call on the 12th. Subsequently, a ministerial-level meeting was held on the 18th in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Peskov also stated that expert-level talks between the two countries are currently being prepared. However, regarding a face-to-face summit between the two leaders, nothing has been decided yet, saying, "There is an understanding that the summit should be held and well prepared. This is the shared understanding of the two presidents."
Meanwhile, Peskov expressed sincere interest in implementing economic cooperation projects with the United States in various fields.
