Kiwoom Securities Launches Discount Event on Overseas Futures Commissions

Kiwoom Securities announced on the 26th that it will hold a commission discount event for new and dormant overseas futures customers for about 8 weeks until April 18.

Anyone who is a new customer with no overseas futures trading experience or a dormant customer who has not traded in the past 3 months as of the application date can participate in this event.

After applying for the event, from the next business day, the online trading commission for all overseas futures micro products (a total of 18) available for trading within Kiwoom Securities will be applied at $0.7 per contract. The discounted commission will be maintained for 3 months (90 days) from the application date. Trading is available through HeroG (HTS), HeroSG (MTS), and Overseas Futures OPEN-API.

Overseas futures trading refers to derivative product trading based on various underlying assets such as indices, currencies, interest rates, metals, and energy listed on overseas exchanges. Micro products can be traded with 10% margin of the standard futures that track the same underlying asset, allowing access to the overseas futures market with less investment capital than standard futures.

In addition to this overseas futures micro commission discount event, Kiwoom Securities offers various benefits for overseas futures options trading customers, such as a maximum payment event of 1 million KRW for US stock options trading and a maximum $50 support fund event for the first US stock options trade.
