A Drawing Journey: Sketching the Cultural Heritage of Yangsan
The Yangsan City Museum in Gyeongnam (Director Shin Yong-cheol) will operate a practical citizen culture course in the first half of 2025 titled "Drawing Journey ~ Sketching Yangsan's Cultural Heritage," where participants express Yangsan's cultural heritage and artifacts through sketches and watercolors.
This practical citizen culture course is the second educational and cultural program held following last year, allowing participants to freely express historical sites and cultural heritage in Yangsan through sketches and watercolors.
The course consists of a total of 10 sessions and is open to anyone interested in drawing. The works created during the course will be specially exhibited at the "2025 Moonlight Tomb Night Tour (夜行)" event scheduled to be held in June.
A museum official stated, "We expect this drawing journey to be a great opportunity to express artistic sensibility while learning and experiencing the history and cultural heritage of Yangsan."
Applicants will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis for 15 people through the Yangsan City Museum website from the 26th until March 12th. The course will be held every Wednesday from 2 PM for two hours, from March 19th to May 21st. The course fee is free (material costs are charged).
