The ‘Senior Business Forum’ is a platform established to bring together companies from various industries in Korea to actively explore growth opportunities in the senior market amid the accelerating transition to a super-aged society.

The forum was attended by about 80 key executives from 14 companies across sectors including ▲Healthcare ▲Finance & Investment ▲Construction ▲IT & Telecommunications ▲F&B ▲Education & Lifestyle Culture.

Starting with the inaugural general meeting, the forum plans to strengthen collaboration across the senior industry, actively support member companies in expanding senior-related business models, and build and develop the senior industry ecosystem by sharing the capabilities and resources of each member company to promote joint projects.

Jeong Won-hye, Head of Strategic Planning at Bumin Hospital, said, “Many companies are entering businesses targeting active seniors. We will cooperate to contribute to increasing social value through Bumin Hospital’s medical expertise and senior-tailored healthcare services.”

Woo Seok-moon, CEO of Shinhan Lifecare, stated, “Since our country has already entered a super-aged society, exchanging expertise among related industries is an essential task for the development of elderly welfare and the silver industry. We will do our best to contribute to the development of the senior industry by coexisting with member companies centered on the senior business know-how accumulated by Shinhan Lifecare.”

This June, Bumin Hospital will open Korea’s largest preventive medicine center, ‘Bumin Prestige Lifecare Center Magok,’ in One Grove, Magok, Seoul. By introducing smart screening systems such as genomic analysis and AI technology, it will embark on a full-scale health management business and provide customized senior specialized screening programs and health management consulting according to individual health cycles.
