Twenty children invited through Save the Children had the opportunity to directly experience the duties of cabin crew on the 25th at T'way Air's training center in Gangseo-gu, Seoul. This event was organized to help children experience cabin crew service and safety training, and to explore career paths in the aviation field.
The Crew Class was conducted under the guidance of training instructors who are responsible for actual cabin crew training. The participating children experienced various in-flight service and safety training activities, including an introduction to airline job roles, fire extinguishing practice, cabin service practice, and in-flight emergency situation simulations.
At the T'way Air Training Center, systematic safety training is provided under the supervision of training instructors who hold professional qualifications in first aid, aviation security, hazardous materials, and crew resource management (CRM). Based on excellent training facilities and conditions, it became the first low-cost carrier (LCC) in Korea to receive approval as an Aviation Training Organization (ATO) from the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport. The center's excellence has also been recognized through inspections and experiences by international aviation officials from the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).
Since 2018, T'way Air has continued social contribution activities with Save the Children. The airline has maintained cooperation through initiatives such as the 'Give Together' in-flight fundraising campaign and calendar sales donations. The funds raised through these social contribution activities have been used for projects benefiting children in Korea.
A T'way Air representative said, "We hope this program has greatly helped children understand aviation safety and explore future career paths," adding, "We will continue various CSR activities for children and youth in the future."
