The Rural Mobile Clinic Bus project sets up temporary clinics such as auditoriums and gymnasiums in medically underserved rural villages and provides residents, including the elderly and vulnerable groups, with time-scheduled village shuttle buses to facilitate easy access to medical care through outreach healthcare services.

Last year, various medical services including Western and Korean medicine treatments, dental checkups, oral examinations, and eye exams were provided to 90,000 rural residents. This year, as part of the livelihood stabilization policy, support will be extended to 150,000 people, an increase of about 60% compared to the previous year. Especially this year, considering that the main beneficiaries are elderly, customized services such as dementia diagnosis and osteoporosis treatment by medical institutions will be reinforced, and additional items like musculoskeletal physical therapy will be added to offer more diverse services.

On this day, the Rural Mobile Clinic Bus provided comprehensive Western and Korean medical support, dental care, musculoskeletal disease management for farmers, eye exams and magnifying glasses, hand health care, and other services to 300 residents including elderly and farmers living in Andong. Nonghyup also offered lifestyle convenience services such as one-on-one legal consultations, tax consultations, and free inspections of farming vehicles.
