Seven-Stage Filtration Process and Five Ultraviolet Sterilization Steps
Dongwon F&B announced on the 26th that its drinking water brand Dongwon Saemmul received the highest rating of '3 Stars' among the International Superior Taste Awards at the '2025 International Taste & Quality Institute (ITI) Awards.'
The company stated, "Dongwon Saemmul received high evaluations in all five categories: first impression, appearance, aroma, taste, and aftertaste," adding, "It scored highly for its refreshing throat feel and clarity due to its rich mineral content."
Launched in 1996, Dongwon Saemmul is drinking water sourced from deep bedrock water in clean areas such as Yeoncheon in Gyeonggi Province, Goesan in Chungbuk, and Wanju in Jeonbuk. It undergoes a total of seven filtration stages and five ultraviolet sterilization processes, ensuring safe consumption.
The International Taste & Quality Institute (ITI), established in 2005, is a global food and beverage taste evaluation organization that has assessed over 16,000 food and beverage products from more than 130 countries. ITI evaluates products annually through blind tests conducted by taste experts and awards the highest rating of '3 Stars' to products scoring 90 points or above.
