NongHyup Life Insurance operates various welfare programs to support a balanced life between work and family. Key programs include ▲support for congratulatory birth allowances for employees ▲spousal paternity leave ▲encouragement of parental leave ▲operation of an in-house daycare center ▲parental leave and reduced working hours for employees with children entering elementary school.

To encourage childbirth, congratulatory birth allowances are provided according to the number of children. For the first child, 5 million KRW is given; for the second, 8 million KRW; for the third, 10 million KRW; and from the fourth child onward, 20 million KRW is supported.

NongHyup Life Insurance plans to operate a workplace daycare center within its headquarters building in Seodaemun-gu, Seoul, aiming to open in April this year. The daycare center is planned as a space to reduce childcare burdens for employees and support stable child-rearing. To support employees with children entering elementary school, the company operates parental leave and reduced working hours systems, leading the spread of a family-friendly corporate culture.

CEO Byunghee Park said, “NongHyup Life Insurance will spare no effort to provide various support so that employees can achieve a balance between work and family and work happily,” adding, “We will continue to strive to establish a family-friendly corporate culture.”
