Business Agreement Signed with Five Executing Organizations
Ulju-gun, Ulsan, will train 590 specialized personnel tailored to local industries as a job creation measure to resolve employment and recruitment difficulties in the region.

On this day, Ulju-gun signed a business agreement with the executing organizations of the ‘Ulju-type Local Industry Customized Specialized Personnel Training Project’ at the Ginkgo Hall of the county office.
The signing ceremony was attended by Lee Soon-geol, the governor of Ulju-gun, and five representatives from the executing organizations: △Korea Security Association Ulsan Branch △Social Cooperative Startup Job Research Institute △Korea Urban Agriculture Expert Education Association △Central Forestry Cooperative Yangsan Education Center △Chunhae Health University.
According to the agreement, Ulju-gun and each executing organization will actively cooperate to nurture talent customized to local industries and solve local employment issues. They will operate training courses to develop specialized personnel tailored to the needs of local industries, strengthen the employment capabilities of Ulju-gun residents, and provide one-stop education linking training to employment.
The training content includes △New General Security Guard Training Project △Specialized Personnel Training Course for Old House and Small-scale Home Repair △Urban Agriculture Manager Training Course △Specialized Forestry Worker Training for Forest Pest Control △County Resident Landscaper △County Resident Wallpaper Installer △Forklift Operator Technician △Excavator Specialized Personnel Training Course, among others.
The total number of planned trainees this year is 590, and any unemployed or retired (or soon-to-be retired) Ulju-gun residents who wish to find or start a job can apply. Applications can be submitted through each executing organization.
Ulju-gun plans to proceed with the project according to the schedule of the executing organizations after signing the agreement and will link training to employment after completion.
Governor Lee Soon-geol said, “The Local Industry Customized Specialized Personnel Training Project is an essential initiative that provides practical employment support through vocational skill development for Ulju-gun residents and helps resolve companies’ recruitment difficulties caused by the lack of specialized personnel. We will do our best to create local jobs in cooperation with the executing organizations.”
