Collaboration Opportunity to Create 2027 KB Financial Group Calendar Offered to 'KB Star Award' Winner
KB Financial Group will participate as an official partner in the 2025 Hwarang Art Fair special exhibition 'ZOOM-IN Edition 6,' held from April 16 to 20, to discover emerging artists who will lead Korean culture and arts.
The Hwarang Art Fair, launched in 1979 as Korea's first art fair, aims to introduce artworks to the public and develop the art market. Now in its 6th year, the 'ZOOM-IN Special Exhibition' continues to serve as a gateway for emerging artists, showcasing 10 new artists who will create new trends in contemporary art with fresh perspectives and original works.
KB Financial will award one of the emerging artists participating in this 'ZOOM-IN Special Exhibition' with the newly established special prize, the 'KB Star Award.' The awardee will collaborate with KB Financial in the production of the 2027 KB Financial Group calendar and will also be given the opportunity for a solo exhibition of their works at venues such as the ART Gallery on the first floor of the new KB Kookmin Bank building in Yeouido.
The KB Financial Group calendar, beloved by many Koreans, serves as a platform for discovering and supporting emerging artists. The 2025 group calendar was produced in collaboration with artist Kuk Hyung-won, whose simple drawing style and soft colors convey the preciousness of everyday life. The 2026 group calendar will be created using works by artists who have participated in past 'ZOOM-IN Special Exhibitions.'
Following its participation as a lead partner in last year's 'Kiaf SEOUL,' KB Financial is strengthening its ties with the cultural and arts community by also joining the prestigious emerging artist competition, the Hwarang Art Fair 'ZOOM-IN Special Exhibition,' as an official partner. Additionally, KB Financial is establishing an art marketing system called 'KB X' and is committed to creating sustainable social value through the fusion of finance and art.
