Business Agreement Signed with Gyeongnam Provincial Geochang College
Collaboration for Wellness Coordinator Training
Sancheong-gun, Gyeongnam Province, is focusing on training professionals to revitalize the wellness tourism industry.
On the 25th, the county announced that it signed a "Business Agreement for the Operation of Wellness Coordinator Training Education" with Gyeongnam Provincial Geochang College at the county office's government meeting room.
This agreement was promoted to attract residents to Sancheong-gun and revitalize the tourism industry. The signing ceremony was attended by County Governor Lee Seunghwa, President Kim Jaegu of Gyeongnam Provincial Geochang College, and other officials.
Through this agreement, Sancheong-gun will entrust Gyeongnam Provincial Geochang College with the training and capacity-building education courses for new wellness coordinators. Additionally, the plan is to create new jobs by training local residents as wellness coordinators.
In particular, it is expected that the quality of tourism services will improve through the development of various wellness health tour programs reflecting the characteristics of Sancheong and stable operation via continuous education.
County Governor Lee Seunghwa said, "I hope this agreement will contribute to training tourism professionals who will lead wellness tourism and developing customized tourism products for the region," adding, "We will continue to implement various policies to attract residents and revitalize the local economy."
