Minister Yoon In-chon Sends Congratulatory Message to Baduk National Team for Winning the Nongshim Cup

Yoo In-chon, Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism, sent a congratulatory message on the 24th to the South Korean Go team, who won the '26th Nongshim Shin Ramyun Cup World Baduk Championship,' expressing his congratulations and encouragement, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism announced on the same day.

In his message, Minister Yoo said, "This victory is a great achievement that elevates the status of Korean Go worldwide," and added, "I once again pay my respects to the efforts of our team members Kim Myung-hoon, Park Jeong-hwan, Seol Hyeon-jun, Shin Min-jun, Shin Jin-seo, and coach Hong Min-pyo." He continued, "I hope that the South Korean Go team will continue to make even greater contributions to raising the prestige of Korean Go around the world."


The '26th Nongshim Shin Ramyun Cup World Baduk Championship' is a team Go competition in which five representative players from Korea, China, and Japan compete in a winning streak format. Korea achieved its 17th overall victory and its 5th consecutive win.
