as the 71st Happy Sharing Store in Mulgum-eup
Promoting a Culture of Sharing to Support Marginalized Groups
Mulgum-eup, Yangsan-si, Gyeongnam, signed an agreement with ‘Ongsimi Kalguksu Memil Makguksu’ (CEO Lee Jeong-ae) as the 71st Happy Sharing Store.
This agreement was promoted as part of efforts to support marginalized groups in the local community and to spread a culture of sharing. The sharing activity by ‘Ongsimi Kalguksu Memil Makguksu’ will provide three types of side dishes every month starting from March to five neighboring households, promising practical support.
Sim Ju-seok, the head of Mulgum-eup, said, “As the Happy Sharing Store network in Mulgum-eup continues to expand, the participation of ‘Ongsimi Kalguksu Memil Makguksu’ will be a great strength to the residents.”
Mulgum-eup operates various welfare programs for socially vulnerable groups such as people with disabilities and low-income families, and through this agreement, it has been able to strengthen bonds among members of the local community. This will also serve as an opportunity to raise awareness of the importance of sharing activities among other local businesses.
