Starting with this event, the youth participation organizations will hold regular meetings at least once a month and engage in various committee activities to support the establishment of effective youth policies and the revitalization of youth training facilities, while reflecting youth opinions in county administration and youth facilities.
Governor Jeong Jong-bok said, "I ask for active proposals and participation so that the youth participation organizations can represent Gijang youth and lead local youth policies."
The youth participation organizations are composed of members from the Youth Participation Committee and the youth operation committees of three youth training facilities (▲Gijang-gun Youth Training Center ▲Gijang Cultural Etiquette School ▲Gijang Youth Center). They secure the representativeness of local youth, provide various participation opportunities in different fields, and play a role in discovering and proposing policies necessary for local youth policies and youth facilities that meet the needs and demands of youth.
