Hanul Headquarters Announces Half-Price Agricultural Machinery Rental Fee Support for Farmers in Uljin County. Provided by Hanul Headquarters
Due to the revision of the Uljin County Agricultural Machinery Rental Business Operation Ordinance, which increased rental fees by an average of 55% by model, Hanul Nuclear Power Headquarters will support a 200 million KRW fund from KHNP to reduce the burden on small-scale farmers by discounting agricultural machinery rental fees.
The discount is automatically applied when renting agricultural machinery at the Agricultural Machinery Rental Office, and with 50% support from KHNP and 25% from the government, up to 75% of the rental fee can be supported for any farmer in Uljin County.
Mr. Yoo Jaeduk, who visited the Agricultural Machinery Rental Office, expressed his gratitude, saying, “I was worried that the increase in agricultural machinery rental fees would increase management burdens, but thanks to Hanul Nuclear Power Headquarters, which provides practical help for small-scale farms, I can now breathe a sigh of relief.”
In response, Director Lee Seyong said, “I am pleased that the half-price agricultural machinery rental fee support project helps alleviate the economic difficulties of farmers in the area, and we will continue to strive to find ways to provide practical benefits to the residents of Uljin County.”
