Human in Motion Robotics Demonstrates 'ExoMotion' at 2025 Invictus Games Closing Ceremony

Human in Motion Robotics, a robotics subsidiary of Benoti&AR (CEO Jeong Jib-hoon), a KOSDAQ-listed company, announced on the 24th that it was officially invited to the '2025 Invictus Games,' a world sports event for wounded veterans held around Vancouver and Whistler, Canada, on the 16th (local time), where it showcased its humanoid exoskeleton robot XoMotion™ at the closing ceremony.

The Invictus Games is an international multi-sport event for military personnel and veterans who have suffered injuries, disabilities, or illnesses. 'Invictus' is Latin for 'unconquered,' symbolizing the spirit and achievements of soldiers overcoming injuries or illnesses and taking on challenges. The event was founded by Prince Harry of the United Kingdom, who served in the Afghanistan war, and has become a biennial international event since its first edition in 2014.

Human in Motion Robotics was officially invited by the event organizers to demonstrate its robot at the closing ceremony. The demonstration featured Chlo? Angus, an actual lower-body paralyzed individual and ambassador for XoMotion. At the closing ceremony, Chlo? held the large official event flag with both hands and walked independently without assistance to hand the flag to the event officials.

Human in Motion Robotics’ XoMotion is a next-generation wearable robot designed to enhance mobility freedom and rehabilitation effects for individuals with lower-body disabilities by applying 12 innovative actuators resembling human lower limb joints and a hybrid parallel hip joint mechanism. Notably, XoMotion’s intelligent software is designed to precisely control the complex interactions between humans and robots.

Above all, XoMotion features self-balancing technology that enables natural walking motions, including forward, backward, sideways steps, and rotations, in a hands-free state. This helps individuals with lower-body paralysis or stroke patients walk, overcoming the limitations of their disabilities and contributing to the restoration of personal independence, attracting global attention. At CES 2025 held in January, it received an Innovation Award for its technology and was also included in the USA Today’s list of the top 50 CES products.

A representative of Human in Motion Robotics said, “Chlo?’s steps at the Invictus Games demonstrated the innovative technology of XoMotion and symbolized support for the lives of those with mobility impairments, receiving much applause. We will continue to create various opportunities linked to the medical field and communicate with market stakeholders and experts to expand our sales channels.”

Meanwhile, Benoti&AR is promoting its wearable robot business aiming to become a leading advanced robotics company in the global market by continuously launching differentiated robotic products and services that improve human quality of life, in collaboration with Human in Motion Robotics and Human in Motion Robotics Asia.
