Seoul Business Headquarters Split into Gangnam and Gangbuk Headquarters
Aimed at Field-Centered Operations and Enhanced Competitiveness
New Digital Transformation Team and Information Operations Team Established
Grand Korea Leisure (GKL), which operates the foreigner-only casino Seven Luck, announced on the 24th that it has carried out an organizational restructuring to innovate the company and operate the organization efficiently.
This organizational restructuring focused on the themes of 'efficiency,' 'growth,' and 'sustainability,' adjusting from the previous structure of 4 headquarters, 8 offices, 3 branches, 1 center, 55 teams, and 27 sections to 5 headquarters, 8 offices, 3 branches, 1 center, 54 teams, and 20 sections.
First, to enable efficient field-centered operations, the existing Seoul Business Headquarters was divided into Gangnam Business Headquarters and Gangbuk Business Headquarters. The plan is to enhance competitiveness through growth strategies tailored to the characteristics of the Gangnam COEX branch and the Seoul Dragon City branch, respectively.
Additionally, to expand new businesses through digital transformation and establish a sustainable management system, the ESG (Environment, Social, Governance) Management Office was renamed the Sustainable Growth Office, under which the ESG Management Team, New Business Team, Digital Transformation Team, and Information Operations Team were placed.
The Digital Transformation Team and Information Operations Team were separated from the existing Digital Planning Team into two specialized teams to accelerate digital transformation. The company explained that this is a strategic move to explore the expansion of new businesses into adjacent fields based on digital transformation.
