Gyeonggi Province Appoints CEOs of Gyeonggi Cultural Foundation, Gyeonggi Future Generation Foundation, and Gyeonggi Welfare Foundation

On the 24th, Gyeonggi Province appointed former National Assembly member Yoo Jeong-ju as the CEO of the Gyeonggi Cultural Foundation, former Gyeonggi Provincial Assembly member Kim Hyun-sam as the CEO of the Gyeonggi Future Generations Foundation, and former National Assembly member Lee Yong-bin as the CEO of the Gyeonggi Welfare Foundation.


Gyeonggi Governor Kim Dong-yeon presented the appointment letters on the day, encouraging them by saying, "It is reassuring that all three heads of institutions are experienced individuals," and the newly appointed heads pledged, "We will dedicate our passion and faithfully perform our duties."

Yoo Jeong-ju, CEO of the Gyeonggi Cultural Foundation, previously served as CEO of the animation production company Kkotdaji Co., Ltd., chairman of the Korea Animation Industry Association, and was a member of the 21st National Assembly in 2020.


Kim Hyun-sam, CEO of the Gyeonggi Future Generations Foundation, served as a member of the 8th to 10th Gyeonggi Provincial Assembly and recently held the position of head of management at the Gyeonggi Future Generations Foundation.


Lee Yong-bin, CEO of the Gyeonggi Welfare Foundation, is a medical doctor who served as president of the Gwangju-Jeonnam branch of the Korean Academy of Family Medicine, chairman of the Gwangju Migrant Health and Human Rights Center, deputy director of the Democratic Research Institute, and was a member of the 21st National Assembly.


The Gyeonggi Provincial Assembly conducted confirmation hearings for the appointees on the 18th and 19th and adopted a confirmation report. The term of office is two years from the date of appointment.
