"Complete Lie" in Response to Myung Tae-gyun's Claims
Nam Sang-kwon, the lawyer representing political broker Myung Tae-gyun, claimed that Seoul Mayor Oh Se-hoon promised the position of president of the Seoul Housing and Communities Corporation (SH) to former lawmaker Kim Young-sun in the past, but Mayor Oh's side denied it as a "complete lie."
Lee Jong-hyun, Seoul City's Public Communication Special Advisor, issued a statement on the 24th, saying, "(Lawyer Nam's remarks) are a complete lie," and added, "Mayor Oh's philosophy is to never promise a position."

On the same day, Lawyer Nam stated on MBC radio that Mayor Oh, ahead of the 2021 Seoul mayoral by-election, met with former lawmaker Kim and Myung Tae-gyun and said he would give the SH president position.
Advisor Lee criticized, "As expected, Myung Tae-gyun and his group are now fabricating such lies after listing abusive language including naming Chinese restaurants and other eateries, egg dishes, pig slaughtering on festive days, and peeling pork skin," emphasizing, "They are inflating suspicions with various materials, and when things do not go their way, they are now writing 'fantasy novels'."
He continued, "Wouldn't it be better to reveal 'to whom the 13 public opinion polls, which no one from Oh Se-hoon's side received, were given' during that time?"
He also hinted at legal action against Lawyer Nam and others. Advisor Lee said, "We will proceed with additional lawsuits against Lawyer Nam representing Myung Tae-gyun, who continues to make false claims," and added, "We are also naturally reviewing legal measures related to MBC and Kim Jong-bae, who are providing a platform for these false claims to spread."
