Discussion on Activation Plans and Areas for Improvement
Muan County in Jeollanam-do (Governor Kim San) announced on the 24th that it held a meeting on the 21st to strengthen the capabilities and promote the operation of the "Our Neighborhood Welfare Task Force" for 2025.
During the meeting, participants exchanged opinions and discussed improvements to activate the Welfare Task Force, and promotional activities were carried out by the Prevention and Safety Team of the Muan Fire Station, a cooperating agency.

In addition, discussions were held on operating the "Welfare Task Force Day," a rotating event in each town and township that mobilizes large numbers of personnel for activities such as large-scale cleaning inside and outside homes, in collaboration with private and public organizations.
Seo Bokhyeon, head of the Muan County Welfare Task Force, stated, "We will do our best to revitalize the operation of the Welfare Task Force so that we can give hope to our neighbors in need," and added, "This year as well, we will go wherever there are neighbors in need and provide support services."
Governor Kim San said, "The warm hearts and active efforts of the members of the Our Neighborhood Welfare Task Force have become a strong support for many underprivileged people," and continued, "We will continue to do our best to improve the welfare of marginalized residents around us by building a tight social safety net through various public-private partnerships."
Meanwhile, the Our Neighborhood Welfare Task Force is composed of 10 teams with a total of 165 members, working under the spirit of "Neighbors care for neighbors in need." The team actively identifies marginalized groups in the community and provides practical welfare services in cooperation with public and private sectors, such as improving residential environments.
