A day laborer in his 50s working at a construction site in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, fell and died.
According to the Gangnam Police Station on the 24th, at around 7:52 a.m., Mr. A fell from the first floor above ground to the basement level 1, about 4 to 5 meters below, while doing plastering work.
Mr. A was given cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and transported to a nearby hospital but ultimately passed away.
The police plan to investigate whether the site manager and other related personnel are liable for negligent homicide or injury.
