Gwangju Labor Rights Center (Director: Jung Chanho) announced on the 24th that it has established an "Industrial Accident Reporting Center" to protect the rights and interests of working citizens in Gwangju.
The Industrial Accident Reporting Center aims to contribute to the creation of safe and healthy workplaces by conducting industrial accident prevention and guidance activities, as well as providing swift responses for workers, business owners, and citizens in Gwangju.
The center supports industrial accident processing procedures, requests improvements from workplaces that conceal accidents occurring during work, and provides consultation services with a dedicated team and certified labor attorneys so that workers can receive prompt compensation for accidents.
In addition, consulting services are provided to improve working environments, such as eliminating safety and health hazards at small businesses with fewer than 30 employees, in order to prevent industrial accidents in advance.
Lee Youngjo, head of the Industrial Safety Team, said, "We will do our utmost at the Industrial Accident Reporting Center so that every working citizen can work safely and return to a happy home in a healthy Gwangju."
