BISTEP Publishes Global Science and Technology Policy Newsletter 'Monthly S&T Policy Report'

First Issue Focuses on Policy Shifts in AI, Energy, and Semiconductors under the Second Trump Administration
Monthly Updates on Domestic and Global Science, Technology, and Industry Trends Available on BISTEP Website

Busan Institute for Science and Technology Promotion (BISTEP, Director Kim Young-bu) published the first issue of the ‘Monthly S&T Policy Report,’ which provides global science, technology, and industry trends, on the 21st.


The ‘Monthly S&T Policy Report’ offers monthly updates on major policy changes in key countries to respond to the rapidly changing global landscape driven by advancements in science and technology.


The first issue focuses on administrative actions and policy changes following the inauguration of the second Trump administration, summarizing policy shifts on major issues such as AI, energy, and semiconductors.


Additionally, BISTEP plans to support the enhancement of Busan’s science and technology competitiveness through various publications, including the ‘R&D Policy Brief,’ which analyzes the impact of science and technology policy changes on the Busan region; the ‘Science & Technology Brief,’ which presents forecasts and trends by detailed technology fields; and ‘BINFO,’ which provides visual data-based statistics.


A BISTEP official stated, "As the pace of change in science and technology accelerates, it is important for Busan to quickly grasp the latest trends and strategically utilize them to effectively respond to global economic and industrial changes."


The report is published online monthly and can be accessed on the official BISTEP website.
