On the 24th, Donghaeng Lottery (CEO Hong Deok-gi), the lottery trustee, announced that the payment deadline for the unclaimed first and second prize winnings from the Lotto Lottery 1115th draw held on April 13 last year is about one month away. There is still one unclaimed prize each for the first and second places.

The unclaimed first prize amount is 2,257,278,282 KRW, and the winning numbers for that draw were 7, 12, 23, 32, 34, and 36. The winner purchased the ticket at a lottery retailer located on Induk-ro, Gwangyang-si, Jeollanam-do. The unclaimed second prize amount for the same draw is 75,242,610 KRW, with winning numbers 7, 12, 23, 32, 34, 36 and the bonus number 8. The winner bought the ticket at a lottery retailer on Sangmu-daero, Seo-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City. The payment deadline for this draw is April 14.

Lotto Lottery winnings must be claimed within one year from the start of payment, and if the deadline passes, the full amount will be forfeited to the lottery fund according to the Lottery and Lottery Fund Act. After forfeiture, the funds are used for various public interest projects such as housing stability projects for marginalized groups, scholarship programs for low-income youth, and support services for veterans' welfare.

Mang Jun-seok, head of the Donghaeng Lottery Soundness Headquarters, said, "There are often cases where people forget to check whether they have won after purchasing a lottery ticket and miss the prize claim deadline." He added, "We strongly encourage people to keep their purchased tickets in a place they frequently check to avoid missing out on any winnings."
