Gochang County in North Jeolla Province is accelerating preparations for the "3rd Gochang Cherry Blossom Festival," a representative spring festival.
According to the county on the 24th, the schedule (April 4-6) and the main slogan ("Have You Been Waiting, Spring") for this year's "3rd Gochang Cherry Blossom Festival" have been finalized, and detailed program planning and venue setup have begun.

This year's festival, to be held from April 4 to 6 in the Seokjeong Hot Spring District of Gochang County, is expected to provide unforgettable memories to visitors with fully bloomed cherry blossoms and a variety of programs.
In particular, the festival's slogan, "Have You Been Waiting, Spring," reflects the long-awaited return of spring after a winter of heavy snow, cold waves, and challenging political and economic conditions.
To this end, the county plans to offer even more diverse attractions and hands-on programs in connection with the "Three Major Livelihood Stability Projects of Gochang County," aiming to maximize local economic revitalization and attract more tourists.
Visitors will be able to stroll leisurely and relax under the fully bloomed cherry blossoms, with an emotional cherry blossom road, picnic shelters, and food trucks offering a variety of foods being prepared.
Additionally, the festival will feature nightscape lighting and various photo zones, making it an event that everyone can enjoy regardless of age or gender.
County Governor Sim Deokseop stated, "We will make thorough preparations so that the 3rd Gochang Cherry Blossom Festival can create special memories for many people this spring."
