Hampyeong County in Jeollanam-do is recruiting participants for the 'Youth Challenge Support Project' to support young people's job-seeking activities.
According to Hampyeong County on the 23rd, the county was recently selected for the 2025 Youth Challenge Support Project, hosted by the Ministry of Employment and Labor.
Hampyeong County plans to officially launch the project starting next month by recruiting participants for the 'Youth Challenge Support Project.'
The Youth Challenge Support Project is implemented to help young people who have been socially isolated or have given up on job-seeking due to long-term unemployment of six months or more, by developing their capabilities and increasing their motivation to find employment.
Hampyeong County will provide various customized employment programs to young people, such as psychological counseling, job training, vocational training, and mentoring programs, in units of 5 to 25 weeks. Participants will receive participation allowances and employment incentives according to their period of participation.
Lee Sangik, the governor of Hampyeong County, stated, "I am confident that the Youth Challenge Support Project will provide substantial help in improving youth employment rates and career development," and added, "We will do our best to help young people find stable jobs and become self-reliant within the region."
