This business agreement was promoted as Seocho-gu and the Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs mutually agreed to strive for "living patriotism in daily life and the activation of patriotism for all." Both parties will cooperate on projects related to strengthening the honor of national veterans, revitalizing patriotism education, and encouraging resident participation in patriotism.

According to the agreement, the district will promote projects to enhance the welfare and convenience of national veterans in the region to strengthen their honor, and will also strengthen promotional activities so that local residents can voluntarily participate in patriotism activities. Additionally, to commemorate the 80th anniversary of liberation, a patriotism education program for future generations will be planned and supported using local memorial facilities such as the Maeheon Yun Bong-gil Memorial Hall and the Simsang Kim Chang-sook Memorial Hall, so that future generations can reflect on the meaning of patriotism and become agents of spreading patriotism culture.

The Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs will play a role in supporting policies to ensure that cooperative projects such as strengthening the honor and welfare policies for national veterans, revitalizing patriotism education, and promoting patriotism practices in local communities can be operated systematically and stably.

The signing ceremony, held at the Maeheon Yun Bong-gil Memorial Hall, will be attended by Seocho-gu Mayor Jeon Seong-su, Minister Kang Jeong-ae of the Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs, and Myung No-seung, Chairman of the Maeheon Yun Bong-gil Memorial Foundation. Following the ceremony, a reopening ceremony of the Maeheon Yun Bong-gil Memorial Hall, which has completed the digital exhibition space project, will take place.

Mayor Jeon Seong-su said, "This business agreement, the first between the Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs and a basic local government, is very meaningful as it marks an important first step toward the nationwide beginning of patriotism culture in daily life. We will continue to do our best to further strengthen the honor given to national veterans who have devoted their lives to the country and to widely spread a patriotism culture that all residents can participate in together."
