Youth Headquarters: "Only When Education Stands Firm Can the Nation Stand Firm"
Jeong Seung-yoon, a preliminary candidate who announced his candidacy for the April 2 Busan Superintendent of Education by-election, launched the Youth Headquarters on the 23rd. The Youth Headquarters plans to develop policies that are practically helpful to Busan students, centered on the values of freedom, justice, and fairness.
Earlier, on the 22nd at 8 p.m., Jeong Seung-yoon held the inauguration ceremony of the Youth Headquarters at his election office. Fifty young people attended the inauguration ceremony that day.
The Youth Headquarters is composed of ▲Planning Headquarters ▲Policy Headquarters ▲Culture Headquarters ▲External Cooperation Headquarters. Centered on these four headquarters, they plan to embark on developing policies that are practically helpful to students and can lead changes in Busan education.
At the inauguration ceremony, they declared ▲to actively participate as youth and do their best for the normalization of Busan education ▲to actively support Jeong Seung-yoon’s correct educational philosophy and policies ▲to contribute to newly transforming Busan education based on the values of freedom, justice, and fairness.
Cha Yuna, head of the Youth Headquarters, emphasized, “Education is a core element that goes beyond the simple transmission of knowledge to establish the identity of the nation and determine what values the next generation will hold,” adding, “Only when education stands firm can the country stand firm, and if education wavers, the future of the country also wavers.”
Candidate Jeong said, “Our elders built the Republic of Korea with their blood and sweat,” and “Now is the time for young conservatives to lead the new future of the Republic of Korea.”
He stressed, “You here will step forward to open a new era of conservatism leading the Republic of Korea,” and “Even if it means my bones turn to powder, I will accompany the conservative revolution led by the youth, because we can win without allying with opportunists, disguised conservatives, or fake conservatives.”
