NH Nonghyup Insurance and Korail Sign 'Rice Consumption Promotion' Agreement... Employee Breakfast Campaign Included

Vowing to Overcome the Agricultural and Farming Crisis

NH Nonghyup Property & Casualty Insurance announced on the 21st that it signed a business agreement with Korail Tourism Development to promote rice consumption. The agreement was made to help farmers facing a crisis due to decreased rice consumption. They will implement campaigns such as the employees' breakfast campaign.

The signing ceremony held at Korail headquarters in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, was attended by Song Chunsu, CEO of NH Nonghyup Property & Casualty Insurance, Kwon Baeksin, CEO of Korail, and employees from both companies.


NH Nonghyup Property & Casualty Insurance explained that the agreement was made to assist farmers struggling with decreased rice consumption and falling rice prices.


The two companies agreed to focus on key cooperative tasks such as conducting an employees' breakfast campaign and activities to expand the consumption of domestic rice, and to work together.


After the agreement, CEO Song and NH Nonghyup Property & Casualty Insurance employees delivered domestic rice to 200 Korail employees and encouraged them to eat breakfast.


NH Nonghyup Property & Casualty Insurance emphasized that it is continuously conducting rice consumption promotion campaigns, business agreements, and promotional activities to overcome the agricultural and farming crisis.


CEO Song said, "I sincerely thank Korail for participating in this agreement," adding, "NH Nonghyup Property & Casualty Insurance will actively promote the rice consumption campaign and take the lead in protecting our agriculture."
