This year, the Women's Association Council is promoting a total of 12 projects in five areas: women's empowerment, gender equality, overcoming the low birthrate crisis, visiting neighborly love sharing, and the Wanju Love promotional campaign.
In particular, they plan to actively expand opportunities for women's social participation and capacity development, spread a culture of gender equality based on mutual consideration and respect, and promote sharing with vulnerable groups.
President Chae Mihwa said, "In 2025 as well, our women's organization will wholeheartedly represent women's rights and work for the development of the local community and women's organizations," adding, "We will continue to build a women's organization that works together with neighbors and strives for the development of Wanju-gun."
County Governor Yoo Heetae said, "I am grateful that the women's organizations played a pivotal role in local development last year through various activities in the community," and added, "I hope that activities such as gender equality and expanding opportunities for social participation will become even more active, and I will continue to provide unwavering interest and support."
