Changnyeong-eup Conducts 'Love for Country Taegeukgi Hanging' Education in Commemoration of March 1st Movement Day

Village Chiefs Lead by Example in Taegeukgi Flag Hanging Campaign for March 1st Movement Day

Changnyeong-eup, Changnyeong-gun, Gyeongnam Province conducted a patriotic Taegeukgi flag hanging education program in celebration of the 106th anniversary of the March 1st Movement.


The education session held on the 19th was attended by 31 members of the Changnyeong-eup Village Chiefs Association. The booklet titled "Proper Understanding of the Taegeukgi" was distributed to all village chiefs in Changnyeong-eup, sharing information about the meaning of the Taegeukgi, flag hanging locations, national holiday flag display methods, and flag management.

Kim Byeong-gon, Chairman of the Changnyeong-eup Village Chiefs Association, said, "This education will greatly help in managing village flags," and added, "Going forward, the village chiefs of Changnyeong-eup will take the lead in actively promoting the Taegeukgi flag hanging campaign."


Seong Bong-jun, the head of the eup, stated, "I feel proud of the passion of our village chiefs, and we will actively promote the Taegeukgi flag hanging campaign again on the upcoming March 1st Movement Day to elevate the spirit of patriotism."
