Former People Power Party leader Han Dong-hoon did not include his prosecutor career in the author introduction of his new book "The People Come First," sparking various interpretations. Kim Jong-hyuk, a close associate of Han (Chinhan, meaning close to Han Dong-hoon), said on YTN Radio's "Shin Yul's News Face-off" on the 20th that regarding the exclusion of the prosecutor career, "I called former leader Han and asked him, and he was surprised, saying, 'Did an article about that come out? Can that even be news?'"

He added, "Everyone knows that among his career achievements, he served as Minister of Justice and was rumored to be the top prosecutor in Joseon, so I think that's why it was left out."

Regarding Han's book, he said, "Pre-orders started at 10 a.m. on the 19th, and by 4 p.m. that day, over 10,000 copies were sold. By 4 p.m. on the 20th, over 20,000 copies had been pre-ordered. Many people are looking for the book ahead of its official release on the 26th."

Kim analyzed, "It is selling more than the books of some recent politicians. It seems that the reason is that People Power Party cannot continue as it is and needs to change, and Han has been voicing the need for change."

He emphasized, "In polls, when Han hasn't appeared for a month or two, people say, 'Is Han Dong-hoon completely done?' But seeing the speed of pre-orders for this book, the public truly feels the need for change and has a strong desire for generational replacement and reform."

However, Kim said that there will be no book launch event. He explained, "During the 22nd general election, Han's side requested not to hold a book launch event, and since then, none of us have held one. At book launches, people pay 100,000 won to take a copy, and it sometimes became a means for politicians to raise political funds."
