Kyowon Wells Supplies 26,000 Air Purifiers to 850 Educational Institutions

Participating in the Education Office's Air Purifier Procurement Project

Kyowon Wells announced on the 21st that it will participate in the education office's air purifier procurement project and supply 26,000 air purifiers to 850 affiliated kindergartens, elementary, middle, and high schools. Since joining this project in 2021, Kyowon Wells has supplied a cumulative total of 80,000 units.

Ahead of the full-scale school opening season, the education office conducted a bidding project for air purifiers to improve students' learning environments. Kyowon Wells plans to complete the installation of air purifiers by the end of February.

Wells Tornado Air Purifier

This achievement was made based on excellent product capabilities. Kyowon developed the 2025 model "Wells Air Purifier Tornado," suitable for environments where many children study and live in one classroom. This product applies the 'Tornado Suction System,' improving suction performance by 18% compared to the company's existing models of the same class. Since a quiet learning environment is important, the maximum wind speed noise was reduced to 49.8dB, which is at the level of small air purifiers.

Since the product is used by both staff and children, hygiene and safety were also carefully considered. For children with sensitive skin, it obtained the Atopy Safety Mark (KAA) from the Korea Atopy Association. Additionally, since regular ventilation is important in classrooms, it measures and displays real-time carbon dioxide concentration and provides guidance to users when ventilation is needed. It also received certification as an eco-friendly product from the Ministry of Environment, earning high praise for being produced in an environmentally friendly manner throughout the entire process from production to consumption.
