[Click eStock] "SimPlatform, Differentiated AIoT Technology... Performance Up This Year"

Independent research firm IV Research analyzed on the 20th that Simple Platform has secured high industrial scalability through differentiated technological capabilities.

Founded in 2011, AI platform company Simple Platform is accelerating expansion into various industries based on its proprietary AIoT platform ‘NUBISON AIoT’. It currently holds references in diverse fields such as semiconductors, healthcare, sports, and agriculture.

Simple Platform has supplied its AIoT platform for process anomaly and product defect inspection to semiconductor and display equipment manufacturers including DB HiTek, Park Systems, and Poongwon Precision. Recently, it has diversified its business by expanding the AIoT platform supply to various industries such as Gangnam Severance Hospital and the Livestock Products Quality Evaluation Institute.

IV Research evaluated, “Simple Platform’s technology and scalability are noteworthy as it expands its AIoT platform beyond the semiconductor industry into various other sectors.”

Simple Platform’s AIoT platform boasts strengths not only in analysis and prediction technologies of existing AI models but also in data collection technologies at industrial sites. Through its core technology ‘Thing Driver,’ it can directly collect raw data from existing equipment installed at industrial sites, enabling data acquisition without additional sensors or equipment installation.

This has allowed it to secure cost competitiveness compared to the way large corporations apply AI to their manufacturing lines. IV Research emphasized, “While many industrial AI platforms require additional equipment to collect data, ‘Thing Driver’ simultaneously achieves scalability and cost reduction by collecting data directly from existing equipment.”

In particular, Simple Platform is estimated to have achieved an annual cost reduction effect of approximately 16 billion KRW by providing process equipment anomaly detection and prediction, as well as product quality anomaly classification services for DB HiTek. Based on successful references in the semiconductor industry, it has also succeeded in entering other industries such as Gangnam Severance Hospital and the Livestock Products Quality Evaluation Institute.

IV Research analyzed, “Expanding into various industries such as healthcare and agriculture based on achievements in the semiconductor market is a case that proves the versatility and technological capability of Simple Platform’s AIoT platform.”

IV Research estimated that Simple Platform reached the break-even point (BEP) last year with sales of 7.2 billion KRW and an operating loss of 600 million KRW. IV Research evaluated, “Considering a technology-specialized IPO as an AI platform company, Simple Platform has higher financial soundness and profitability compared to competitors.”

The growth outlook for Simple Platform is also positive. Due to the nature of AI platform companies, the operating leverage effect is expected to appear in earnest from 2025, and considering secured clients and entry into new industrial sectors, sales of 13 billion KRW and operating profit of 3.7 billion KRW are expected in 2025. IV Research forecasted, “Considering Simple Platform’s technological capabilities and industrial scalability, significant growth is expected after the IPO.”

Meanwhile, Simple Platform is planning an IPO in March this year. The number of shares to be offered is 920,000, with a desired offering price of 13,000 to 15,000 KRW per share. The expected amount to be raised is 11.9 billion to 13.8 billion KRW, and the demand forecast will be conducted from the 27th to March 6th.
