Honam University (President Park Sangcheol) announced on the 19th that it has been selected as a priority negotiation university for the "2025 Graduate Specialized Program" organized by the Ministry of Employment and Labor.
The "Graduate Specialized Program" is a new initiative launched this year to provide tailored employment support to job seekers immediately after university graduation, aiming to prevent young people from giving up on job searching and to increase employment rates.
With this selection, Honam University plans to offer systematic employment support services to graduates with funding from the national treasury.
In particular, by linking the University Job Plus Center, which has been operating since 2022, and the customized employment service project for enrolled students that began last year, the university is expected to further strengthen its One-Stop employment support services not only for current students and graduates but also for local youth.
The Honam University Job Plus Center has been recognized for its achievements in supporting youth employment, earning an "Excellent" rating in performance evaluations for three consecutive years.
Through the operation of this Graduate Specialized Program, broader and more effective employment support is expected to be provided to graduates and local youth.
